Our Ferienwohnung Jank - apartment is located very quit in Rattendorf, just 2 km from the valley station of Millennium Express - cable car and has a sitting&dining area in the garden where you can relax and spend cosy summer evenings under shady trees, - perfect for family holidays - close to the Nassfeld ski area and snow park. The entire holiday apartment is wheelchair friendly and suitable for disabled guests.

You can climb the highest peaks, enjoy unspoiled nature, discover the regional specificities. The Carnic Alps and the Gailtal Alps valley offer a full spectrum in sport and fitness activities - ski mountaineering, ski touring, cross country skiing, sledging, biking, swimming, walking and alpine hiking etc.

Die Familie Jank
Wir sind eine sportlich orientierte Familie. Julia und Fabian sind Schüler, Erni ist im Winter Skilehrer bei der Skischule Thommi und im Sommer Bergwanderführer und Mountainbike-Guide, Helmut ist Beamter mit den Hobbys Radfahren und Skitouren.

The House
A little history
We have been unable to find out an accurate date for when our house was built, but for sure the walls are over 100 years old. The external walls of the ground floor are made of pebbles from the nearby river Doberbach. In the the local dialect of the Gailtal valley every old house has a traditional name ( Vulgarnamen) which differs from the today’s owner’s name. Maybe the first owner was a tailor called Paul since our traditional house name is ”Schneiderpauli”. The make up to the holiday apartment does back to 2008.

Die Einrichtung ist barrierefrei, der Zugang zu den Sanitäranlagen ist für Benützer eines Rollstuhles geeignet.

Bergbahn und diverse Bäder gratis Radparadies - im Flachen fahren, Pässe oder Mountainbiken alles möglich - Baden in der kühlen Gail, Heidelbeerpflücken, Sommerrodeln Wandern und Klettern - der schöne Weißensee in der Nähe. Die Quartiergeber sind sehr freundlich und Rad-/Einradfreaks - Bauernhof und Laden nebenan.
